An interesting way to get students excited about writing. Children make their blue ribbon (add a school picture to make this even more special), and then write why they think their father is an award-winning dad, or why they feel he deserves a blue ribbon.
This "craftivity" makes a nice tuck in for a homemade Father's Day card.
