These are fun and easy for your students to make.

They can be a badge or a necklace and work well for your Presidents' Day or Lincoln activities.

This center also ties in well with 100-Day. You can have several penny centers (counting to 100 by counting 100 pennies by 1's, or in stacks of 5's or 10's.  

Students could also measure each stack and compare the differences.
They can make predictions of which group of coins will make the longest line as well.
When they've accomplished their penny activities, they are certainly cent-sational and can move on to this center, to make their "penny prize."
