A fun way to help students reinforce counting, sequencing numbers, and number word recognition, as they cut and glue the appropriate playing card to their valentine booklet.

Add a heart sticker to each page for that finishing touch.

When everyone has completed their valentine, read the booklet as a group and then have students pair off to read it to each other.  This will enable students to share it with their families---a double gift of love!
