Students can either play independently and place the laminated shape tiles on the matching soldier cards, or they can choose a partner and take turns spinning the shape spinner.  Whatever shape they land on, they place it on the matching card.  Practice colors by having students color the shapes with a dry erase marker, according to the spinner.

These 3 puzzles will help your students count from 1 to 10, backwards from 10 to 1, as well as skip count by 10's to 100.  Set this up as a center with laminated pieces, or run off copies for students to cut and glue to the number grids.  You can also mix up all 3 puzzles and make a puzzle flip booklet.
