Writing on a squirrel, oak leaf and acorn, students write a descriptive sentence using their 5 senses. PK's write a simple sentence, older students can include verbs and adjectives. Students are reminded to use proper beginning capitalization and ending punctuation.

These fall writing prompts make a wonderful bulletin board or hallway wall decoration. Simply make a large paper oak tree to hang them on. They can also hang back-to-back from the ceiling. A cover is provided, so you have the option to collate the pages and make a class book.
