These butterfly puzzles are a different way to assess students as well as a fun way for them to practice one-to-one correspondence and matching upper and lowercase numbers with each other.

This is especially helpful in the spring for students who still struggle.  With only 4 pages to complete, it's an easy lesson to send home for a parent to help get their child over the hump, and fun for that ESL student as well.
