Free Monthly Symmetry Shapes To Cut

Share:

11 pages.
Students can practice their cutting skills and increase their fine motor skills and improve their finger muscles and increase dexterity by doing one of these fun "fold and cuts" each month. You can read, save, or print these.

My little ones are always amazed when they open up their paper and "wahla" it looks like a seasonal shape.

There's one for each month September through May.

Nice vocabulary builder exercise for the word symmetry. I have my students run these through Mr. Cruncher Muncher.

It's a scrapbooking tool that's a hand-held roller. You crank it and the paper that you inserted comes out looking like corrugated cardboard! My kids love it, and what a great fine motor skill for them! (See Apple Art -September for an example.)
