Painting a yellow and orange stripe on a styrofoam cup, will literally take your kiddos just a few minutes, and is a fun October center activity, or something simple and fun to do on Halloween party day.
This quick, easy and fun candy corn craft is very versatile. Use it to reinforce circles, the concept of small, medium and large; or have students write whatever you want them to practice, on the individual sections of the candy corn pieces. (I've made examples to give you some ideas.) If you're also working on fractions, I've included pocket chart cards for a quick review.
Help students practice and improve their writing, as well as review the 5 senses, with this candy corn graphic organizer.
For an extra special treat, allow students to use 10 pieces of real candy corn, as manipulatives to place on their 10 frame cards.
